Gustav and Grete Zimmer Memorial Scholarship Fund

Eligibility criteria -

• The applicant must  be an undergraduate majoring in mechanical and aerospace engineering
• They must submit research activities that include a research proposal and a letter of recommendation from your research faculty advisor.
• Fall/Spring research must accompany 10 hr/wk, and Spring research must accompany 15-20 hr/wk. All research is on-campus. 

Award - $1,000 to $3,000

Application process -

• The applicants must complete the supplemental questions
  • Have you discussed pursuing undergraduate research with an MAE faculty member? This is not required, but it is recommended for a scholarship like this one, since undergraduate research is often an indicator of student achievement.
  • Please indicate the semester in which you are pursuing/plan to pursue undergraduate research.
  • Please upload a file summarizing your current or proposed undergraduate research. The summary is limited to two pages, it should be written by you, and should be reviewed by your faculty adviser before submission.
