The GuateFuturo-RMIT University Joint Scholarship 2020 is jointly funded by RMIT and Fundación GuateFuturo and aims to provide further financial assistance to talented Guatemalan students who want to pursue Masters by Research and PhD programs at RMIT.
Eligibility:
- Be a citizen of Guatemala
- Have an offer for a Masters by Research or PhD program at RMIT
- Be an awardee of the GuateFuturo scholarship-loan
- Commence full-time enrollment as an onshore international student
Value of the scholarship:
- English Language Studies (ELICOS) funding up to ten weeks for every pupil
- Two qualified students may receive a 50% tuition fee scholarship for the Master by Coursework program in any subject.
- Three qualified candidates will each receive a full tuition fee scholarship for either two years of a Masters by Research program (with no chance of extension) or three years of a Ph.D. program (with a potential extension to 3.5 years).
- The three colleges of RMIT—the STEM college, the College of Design and Social Context, and the College of Business—will each get an equal number of scholarships.
