Guaranteed Wellington Doctoral Scholarships at Victoria University of Wellington 

These scholarships are intended to encourage and support high-achieving students to pursue full-time doctoral study (PhD) at Victoria University of Wellington.

Eligibility Criteria of Guaranteed Wellington Doctoral Scholarships:

1. The Guaranteed Wellington Doctoral Scholarships are open to graduates of any New Zealand university who are enrolling full-time or have commenced a PhD at Victoria University of Wellington.
2. Applicants must have achieved a GPA of 8.5 or above in their qualifying degree completed within 12 months prior to application; those outside this timeframe may be considered on individual merit.
3. Applicants should refer to the university website for detailed eligibility conditions and application requirements, as the scholarship follows the Wellington Doctoral Scholarship regulations.

Selection Criteria: 

1. The University Research Scholarships Committee makes the final selection of applicants who have been approved by the relevant School and Faculty. 
2. Applicants will be notified of the outcome within 4 weeks of submitting a completed application.

Award: NZD 32,000 stipend annually plus tuition fees.

Notes: 

1. The Guaranteed Wellington Doctoral Scholarship provides a NZD 32,000 per year stipend plus domestic tuition fees for up to three years.
2. The scholarship is awarded under the conditions of the Wellington Doctoral Scholarship.
