Eligibility Criteria for the Greater than Gatsby Annual Scholarship 2025:
- Applicants must be a recently accepted high-school student, undergraduate, or graduate student from an accredited college/university in the United States.
- Applicants must be majoring in any type of art, communications, English, film, fine arts, journalism, multimedia, photography, or visual arts.
- Applicants must be able to provide proof of their identity if chosen as winners.
Application Process:
All eligible candidates must compile the below documents (zip file) to scholarships@greaterthangatsby.com with the following subject line: Gatsby Scholarship Submission – Your Name. The application should include the following components:
- Three photos demonstrating the best photography. (no larger than 1,000px on the longest side and 72dpi).
- A short essay of at least 500 words describing your interest in photography and/or the relation of photography to your chosen career or passion.
- Include the Name, Address, and Phone Number.
- Include the name of the school the student will be attending, along with the address and phone number of their financial aid office.
Value of the award: 2 awards worth $1,000
Deadline: The deadline for submissions is May 1st of each year.
