Overview
The GREAT Scholarships 2024 initiative, initiated by the British Council in collaboration with 72 universities across the UK, aids graduate students in gaining entry to top-tier UK university programs. This scholarship scheme provides monetary assistance of GBP 10,000 to students engaging in a one-year graduate program in the UK.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Applicants must be citizens of Ghana, India, or Pakistan.
- Applicants must hold a bachelor's degree.
- Applicant must be active in the field with work experience or with a proven interest in the proposed subject area.
- Applicants must meet the English language requirement of the UK Higher Education Institution.
- Applicants must be willing to attend lectures and tutorials and engage in extra-curricular activities.
- Applicants must act as ambassadors for UK Higher Education, by promoting the value of studying at a UK HEI.
- Applicant must be willing to attend a networking event of all UK-based GREAT scholars.

Value of the Scholarship:
Selected candidates are awarded a sum of GBP 10,000.
