For non-EU/non-EEA students studying in Ireland, the Government of Ireland International Education Scholarship is a distinguished scholarship. Every year, 60 spots are given out among all Irish higher education establishments.

Eligibility for the Government of Ireland International Education Scholarship at University College Dublin:

  • The applicant should be classified as an international student and should be classified as a non-EU/EEA fee payer.
  • The applicant should enroll in a Masters or a Ph.D. Program in University College Dublin.
  • The applicant should be a non-EU/EEA resident.
  • Applicants must already have a scholarship offer from UCD to apply. Applications for scholarships that do not have a current offer to enroll in classes at an Irish university will not be accepted.
