Eligibility:

    • An Australian citizen
    • A New Zealand citizen
    • A permanent resident of Australia
  • The applicant must meet PhD admission requirements, which include
    • For science graduates: an Australian Honours degree Class 1 or 2A (or equivalent) with a research component of at least 6 months’ full-time study and a Distinction (75%) average.
    • For medical program graduates: evidence of equivalent research experience, such as a first-author refereed publication or a record as an investigator on a competitive grant.
  • The applicant must be available to start as a full-time PhD student at Flinders University in Semester 1, 2025.

Application Process:

  • The admission application and scholarship application are separate processes; admission applications are submitted online.
  • The successful candidate is expected to begin in early 2025, but no later than June 2025, depending on negotiation.
