Global Awareness Study Abroad Fund

The Global Awareness Study Abroad Fund supports currently enrolled Stetson students participating in approved, credit-bearing study abroad programs, with awards primarily based on financial need.

Eligibility criteria for the Global Awareness Study Abroad Fund:

• The applicant must be an enrolled Stetson University student when applying and when studying abroad.
• The applicant must be a current student at the university.
• The applicant must participate in an approved Stetson credit-bearing study abroad program and receive Stetson academic credit.
• Scholarships are primarily need-based, with merit also considered.
• Students may receive a maximum of one WORLD study abroad scholarship per year.
• Scholarships cannot exceed the cost of the study abroad program.
• The scholarship is open to domestic and currently enrolled international students.

Application process for the Global Awareness Study Abroad Fund:

• The applicant must apply through the online scholarship application by October 1 or February 1, depending on the program term.
• The applicant must select the specific study abroad program for which the scholarship will be used.
