The Ghent University of Belgium is offering Postdoctoral positions at their Photonics Research Group to work on the HOT-project which consists of 17 academic and industrial partners from all across Europe. The HOT-project of is funded by EU Horizon 2020 FET-Proactive programme. Its aim is to place the foundation for a current generation of hybrid devices which employ a nano- or micro-mechanical oscillator to the pair and control the electrical, optical and microwave domains.
Eligibility for Ghent University's Postdoctoral Position at “Silicon Optomechanics” in Belgium, 2019:
- Hold a Ph.D. degree in electrical, optical and microwave domains or research experience in the relevant fields.
- Strong background in Photonics and Optomechanics.
- Demonstrate interest in the project.
- Strong Academic background.
- Strong IELTS and TOEFL score.
