Ghent University Joint Doctoral Program in Arts and Archaeology, 2017 is being jointly conducted by the University of Ghent and University of Verona. The candidates will be enrolled at both the universities and will receive a degree issued by both univrsities.

Eligibility criteria:

  • Applicants of Ghent University Joint Doctoral Program in Arts and Archaeology, 2017 must be predoctoral researchers aiming to receive a doctorate degree.
  • Applicants should be eligible for ‘dehousse scholarship’ at the start of  BOF fellowship.
  • Candidates applying for Ghent University Joint Doctoral Program in Arts and Archaeology, 2017 should submit copies of transcripts of records and diplomas.
  • An abstract of the proposed research project in at most 60 words, master's degree thesis and details of awards/distinctions received must be submitted.
  • Assessment of the candidates will be done based on their study results.
  • Research grants or positions currently being undertaken at Ghent University or outside Ghent University must be mentioned along with their start and end dates.
  • If candidates had studied abroad or have planned to pursue courses or training or scientific studies abroad during the Ph.D. grant, the details should be provided.
