Generowicz Scholarship at the University of Western Australia 2026

Introduction: 

The Generowicz Scholarship is funded annually by Mirek Generowicz and administered by the University of Western Australia. It supports Indigenous students and students from educationally disadvantaged backgrounds to undertake an undergraduate degree, particularly in Science, Engineering, or law-related majors

Eligibility requirements for the Generowicz Scholarship at the University of Western Australia:

• Applicants must be an Indigenous Australian, or Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander 
• Be experiencing educational disadvantage, such as:
  • A recent school leaver from a low socio-economic school, a student from a regional or remote area, 
  • A student with a disability or chronic medical condition and a student with carer responsibilities.

Value of the scholarship:

A full-time student will be awarded AUD 24,000.
