Graduate School of East Asian Studies (GEAS) is offering GEAS Ph.D. Scholarship in Sovereignty and International Law, 2017 to students who wish to conduct research in social sciences at the Free University of Berlin.

Eligibility criteria:

  • Applicants of GEAS Ph.D. Scholarship in Sovereignty and International Law, 2017 must have completed MA degree in Chinese Studies by the time of application.
  • Candidates must have a background in social sciences or International Law.
  • Proficiency in oral and written Mandarin Chinese language and English is required.
  • Candidates applying for GEAS Ph.D. Scholarship in Sovereignty and International Law, 2017 are required to have good knowledge of quantitative or qualitative research methods.
  • Research experience in multiple branches is required.
  • Having experience of residing in East Asia, fluency in German are additional qualifications that the students may have.
