Gavin Teague was passionate about art. Gavin's artistic path started early on as a sincere and organic gift. In addition to painting and drawing, Gavin also created ambient music, designed, and spoke about personal concerns using metaphor and symbolism. Gavin's hands held the keys, and his head had a wealth of thoughts. Sadly, he was never able to realize his full potential as a misunderstood genius. He had aspirations of being an artist and intended to pursue fine art at RMIT.
Eligibility for the Gavin Teague Memorial Scholarship:
Applicants must:
- Be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or international student residing in Australia for at least two years.
- Be enrolled full-time in Semester 1 and 2, 2026, in the 2nd or 3rd year of the Bachelor of Fine Arts (BP201) at RMIT.
- Demonstrate circumstances impacting study.
- Submit five examples of original artistic work.
