The scholarship supports exceptional graduates through fully funded PhD research focused on sustainable offshore wind energy, with interdisciplinary training and strong industry links.

Eligibility Criteria for the Funded PhD Studentships at the EPSRC Centre for Doctoral Training (CDT) in Offshore Wind Energy Sustainability and Resilience:

• Applicants must be UK students with a strong academic background in a relevant field such as Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Earth Science, Engineering, Environmental Science, Mathematics or Physics.
• Applicants must meet the EPSRC’s academic entry requirements.
• Applicants should demonstrate an interest in contributing to the sustainable growth of the offshore wind sector.

• Applicants must submit an application for a PhD studentship beginning in September 2026.

Award:

• Full tuition fees + GBP 20,780 per year stipend.
