Overview

The University of Macau (UM) established the UM PhD Scholarship (UMPS) to entice exceptional individuals worldwide to pursue their doctoral studies at the UM.

Eligibility:

  • The scholarship is open to all nationalities.
  • Anyone interested in pursuing a PhD full-time at the University of Manchester is able to apply, regardless of their nationality, ethnicity, or previous employment history.
  • For PhD degree programmes, applicants must meet all basic admission requirements as well as any special requirements that may apply to specific programmes.

Application Procedure:

  • Applicants are required to select full-time PhD programmes of the UM.
  • They are required to submit the application for the MPDS directly to the UM when they submit the application for admission.
  • Applicants must fully comply with the admission requirements for their selected programmes. Candidates not selected for the MPDS award are eligible for regular PhD admission.
