As a component of the esteemed Fulbright Awards Programme, Queen Mary University of London is thrilled to be collaborating with the Fulbright Commission to fund a Fulbright-Queen Mary Postgraduate Award. Establishing greater cultural understanding between the United States and the United Kingdom via educational exchange, the Fulbright Commission was created on September 22, 1948. One of the most prominent grant programs in the world, the Fulbright program operates in more than 150 countries and has produced over 300,000 graduates. Through the Commission's educational exchange programs, around 15,000 UK citizens have studied in the US and more than 12,000 US citizens have studied in the UK.

Eligibility for Fulbright-QMUL Postgraduate Award:

  • The applicant should be a US citizen.
  • The candidate should be enrolled in any 12-month Master's

Value/Benefits of the Scholarship:

Winners of the award will get full payment for their abroad tuition as well as a substantial stipend of about £15,000, which is meant to help with general living expenses (transport, lodging, food, etc.) while they are in the UK. The Fulbright Commission will also extend invitations to award recipients to partake in a variety of cultural events, a mentorship program and several networking gatherings held all year long.
