Overview

Fulbright's Philippine American Education Foundation is offering Fulbright-Philippine Graduate Student Scholarship Program in order to provide an opportunity to learn about American culture, life, and society or study Global issues. The Fulbright Scholarship Program is an ambitious, merit-based scholarship program that presents possibilities for a graduate degree and non-degree education at U.S. universities. There is a scholarship being offered for each of the following:

  • Maximum of one academic year for non-degree
  • One to two years for master’s
  • Two years for doctoral degree studies

Eligibility for Fulbright-Philippine Graduate Student Scholarship Program, 2022:

  • Citizen of the Philippines. Dual Citizens or permanent residents of the US with citizenship of the Philippines are not eligible.
  • A sufficient IELTS score is required by the University's department.
  • Hold an undergraduate degree with Academic Excellence.
  • Return to the Philippines immediately after receiving the degree.

Documents Required:

  • Application form,
  • Official or certified transcripts of all programs from candidates' Universities or colleges.
  • Certified Copy of Diploma.
  • Four Letters of Recommendation.
  • Philippine's National Bureau Investigation (NBI) clearance for the past six months.

  • The scholarship provides for round-trip international travel, monthly maintenance allowance, tuition & more.

Collateral includes either: Immovable property – a house or a flat or land (or) liquid security – an FD, or LIC or shares or bonds. Agricultural lands are not accepted by any bank for education loan.
