Awarded to a fourth year Honours Bachelor of Commerce student on the basis of financial need and minimum B standing.

Eligibility for French and Niederer Families Bursary:

Must be a fourth-year student enrolled full-time in the Honours Bachelor of Commerce (HBC) program at Lakehead University
Must demonstrate financial need, as assessed by the university’s bursary or awards process
Must maintain a minimum B academic standing in all courses, with particular emphasis on core Commerce courses
Must be in good overall academic standing and comply with university policies
Preference may be given to students who have demonstrated leadership, involvement in campus activities, or contributions to their community or the Faculty of Business Administration
Award aims to support students completing their final year of study and preparing to enter the professional workforce
