Thomas F. Patton ('71, MS'73, PhD'75), the current president of the St. Louis College of Pharmacy, founded the organization. The purpose of the scholarship is to help people fulfill their dreams of pursuing higher education while paying tribute to Mr. Patton's parents, Floyd and Alberta Patton, who greatly appreciated their son's ability to do so.
