FIU Online Academic Merit Scholarship 2024

A small number of students who demonstrate exceptional academic qualifications upon enrollment and have at least a 3.25 GPA in upper-division undergraduate coursework will be granted the Academic Merit Scholarship by FIU Online. The $2,000 FIU Online Academic Merit Scholarship will be awarded in equal increments over the first three semesters.

Eligibility for the FIU Online Academic Merit Scholarship:

Applicants must:

• Be a newly admitted student for the Fall 2024 semester.
• Be enrolled in one of the eligible fully online or hybrid master’s programs at Florida International University.
• Have a minimum GPA of 3.25 in upper-division undergraduate coursework.
• Submit the scholarship application by the program application deadline.
• Maintain continuous enrollment each semester.
• Maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 during the program.
• Be one of the following:
  • U.S. citizen
  • U.S. permanent resident
  • International student intending to obtain an F-1 visa
