FIT Indigenous Industry Based Learning Scholarship
Indigenous students enrolling in an undergraduate Information Technology degree at Monash University will receive this scholarship as part of the IT Indigenous Student Guarantee.

Eligibility criteria -

• The applicant must be an Australian citizen
• The student enrolled or intending to enrol in any of the following on-campus undergraduate degrees in the Faculty of Information Technology at a Monash campus in Australia:
  • Bachelor of Computer Science
  • Bachelor of Computer Science (Honours)
  • Bachelor of Computer Science Advanced (Honours)
  • Bachelor of Information Technology
  • Bachelor of Engineering (Software Engineering) or Double degrees involving these.
• You must maintain a Weighted Average Mark (WAM) of 50 each semester.

Application process -

• The applicants must also surpass all the requirements set by the university.

Award - 

• $10,000 per annum (48 credit points of study) for the minimum number of credit points required to complete your degree.
• 23 week placement with one of the industry partners of the Faculty of Information Technology.

Note - To be eligible you must provide a Confirmation of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Heritage certificate or a certified Statutory Declaration form to the William Cooper Institute.
