First Nations Scholarship at University of Southern Queensland:
The First Nations Scholarship, supported by donors to the University’s First Nations Scholarship Endowment Fund, will support one Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander student commencing their first year of a bachelor’s degree at University of Southern Queensland in 2026.
Eligibility Criteria:
- The applicant should be a domestic student currently residing in Australia.
- The applicant should be a commencing student intending to enrol full-time in a bachelor's degree program in Trimester 1 2026.
- The applicant should have an income at or below the financial threshold limits.
Selection Criteria:
- Answer each personal statement question (max 250 words each): experiences/influences driving your passion, and career goals/impact.
- Provide evidence of being an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander.
- Provide academic achievement (final year school report card or post-secondary transcript).
- Provide proof of current financial circumstances.
Application Process: Application must be made via the UniSQ Scholarships Online Application Management System.
Award: A maximum value of $4000 to be paid in one instalment.

Note: If an applicant holds other UniSQ awarded scholarships, this may be taken into consideration in selection. There are some scholarships that cannot be held together.
