Financial Assistance for Education of the Wards of Beedi/Cine/IOMC/LSDM Workers - Post-Matric 2024 is offered by the Ministry of Labour and Employment, Government of India. This Scheme for Award of Financial Assistance for Education (Scholarship) to the Children of Beedi Workers, Children of Iron Ore, Manganese Ore, and chrome Ore Mine (IOMC) Workers,  Children of Limestone and dolomite Mine (LSDM) Workers, and Children of Cine Workers.

Eligibility for the Financial Assistance for Education of the Wards of Beedi/Cine/IOMC/LSDM Workers - Post-Matric 2024:

  • Students should be either the parents of the students, Beedi, Iron Ore Manganese & Chrome Ore Mines, Limestone & Dolomite Mines, or Cine workers with at least six months of service. This also includes Contract/Gharkhataworkers.
  • The total monthly Income of the Worker’s family from all sources should not exceed Rs.10,000/-pm for Beedi workers, Rs.10,000 for Mine Workers/-pm, and Rs.8,000/-pm for the Cine workers.
  • Applicant must have passed the last qualifying examination on the first attempt.
  • The Scholars pursuing studies through Correspondence are not eligible. 
  • The Educational Institute must be a Government/Government Recognized Institute. 
  • Students who receive scholarships or stipends from any other source will not be granted under this Scheme. 
  • Each Scholar is required to furnish a separate Mobile Number.
  • The Scholar should have a separate bank account. In the case of a Joint Account, the first name should be of the Scholar.
  • Wards of those workers who’ve put in at least 6 months of continuous service in the respective sectors. 

Value of the Financial Assistance for Education of the Wards of Beedi/Cine/IOMC/LSDM Workers - Post-Matric 2024:

Up to INR 25,000 academic allowance.
