Faye and Richard Wood Award for Celtic Music Education at Holland College 2026

Introduction: 

The Faye and Richard Wood Award for Celtic Music Education was established in 2024 to support and recognize students in the Music Performance program who demonstrate talent and dedication in Celtic and violin performance. The award celebrates musical excellence, with a particular focus on students whose primary discipline is the Celtic fiddle or violin.

Eligibility requirement for Faye and Richard Wood Award for Celtic Music Education at Holland College:

• Must be enrolled in the Music Performance program.
• Be in first or second year of study.
• Indicate whether they are:
  • Celtic fiddle player (first consideration), or
  • Violin player (second consideration if no Celtic fiddle applicants meet criteria).

Value of the scholarship:

A CAD 500 is awarded to support a full-time student
