The UC High Achievers Scholarship (International) at the University of Canberra (UC) is for high-achieving international students applying to UC courses, offering financial support based on strong academic results (e.g., 85%+ in high school for undergrad, 80%+ in Bachelor's for Masters), assessed automatically upon application, and awarded on a first-come basis until funds run out, requiring acceptance and payments quickly.
Eligibility Criteria of UC High Achievers Scholarships:
- The applicant must be a new international student (not an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or New Zealand citizen) and must be applying for an eligible undergraduate or postgraduate coursework degree at UC’s Bruce or Sydney Hills campus, excluding HDR programs, one-year Honours, non-award courses, and certain health programs like Nursing or Physiotherapy.
- The applicant needs strong academics, with at least 85% or an equivalent GPA of 6/7 for a bachelor’s application, or at least 80% or a 6/7 GPA for a master’s application.
- The applicant must also meet UC’s English language requirements for their chosen course.
Application Process:
- The applicant must first submit a course application through the University of Canberra’s international application portal, where their eligibility for the scholarship is automatically assessed by the Admissions Office.
- If the applicant is selected, the scholarship details will be included directly in their official offer letter from the university.
