Estranged Student Bursary

Eligibility criteria -

The applicant must be an UK undergraduate student paying tuition fees of at least £6,000.
They have been assessed as independent due to estrangement by Student Finance.
They are 24 years old or under on 1st September 2026.
If eligible, the Estranged Student Bursary is available for each level of study.

Application process -

The applicant must surpass all the additional requirements the University sets for admission.

Award - A non-repayable £1,500 cash bursary may be available if you are estranged from your family. This bursary also includes support towards accommodation costs (where relevant).
