Eligibility
- The scholarship is open to citizens of Armenia, Azerbaijan, Afghanistan, Egypt, Georgia, India, Iran; Nepal, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Morocco, Ukraine, Sri Lanka, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Tunisia.
- The maximum age limit of the candidate should be 35 years.
- Candidate should have advanced speaking, reading, writing skills in English.
- Applicants should be employed by the foreign or civil service currently in the listed countries and should be employed for at least one year.
- Candidate should be interested and motivated to learn about international relations and related disciplines.
- Candidates who are motivated to continue their professional careers in the service of their respective country are given priority.
- Should be hard working, co-operative and ready for cross-cultural study environment.
Application requirements
- Completed ESD application form.
- Curriculum vitae of the candidate in English.
- Applicants need to submit a Motivation letter in a maximum of 300-400 words, which include an explanation and the reasons for applying and the previous experience and how the studies will benefit the student’s future development.
- Unofficial copies of university transcripts of diploma, higher education and academic record in English translation.
- A copy of passport.
- A passport-sized photograph attached to the application form.
- An essay should be included in 1,300-1,500 words on one of the topics like My three visions on future US foreign policy, Europe without the European Union, After Sykes-Picot’: a new international settlement for the Middle East, Que vadis Eastern Partnership? or China and India: the extent of Asian international influence.
