Applicants must:
- Be undergraduate students enrolled at Texas State University at least half-time (minimum 6 credit hours).
- Be enrolled in an Engineering major within the Ingram School of Engineering.
- Have a minimum GPA of 2.5.
- Freshman students with no prior GPA may apply but must submit Fall semester GPA once available.
- Have submitted an application to one of the courses offered at the Cartago, Costa Rica Summer Hub.
- Demonstrate financial need.
- Demonstrate clear interest in international education (evaluated by essay).
- Not be on academic or disciplinary probation or suspension.
- Not have any delinquent financial obligations to the university.
