The Emily Abbitt Woodrum Scholarship on African American Culture provides financial support to students at Perimeter College who have a demonstrated interest in the study of African American life and culture. The scholarship encourages academic exploration and appreciation of African American history, experiences, and cultural contributions.

Eligibility for the Emily Abbitt Woodrum Scholarship on African American Culture at Georgia State University:

Applicants must:

• Be enrolled at Georgia State University Perimeter College.
• Have earned a minimum GPA of 2.5 in high school or at Perimeter College.
• Demonstrate an interest in African American culture and studies.
• Submit a letter of recommendation from a Perimeter College staff/faculty member or a high school faculty member.
