This scholarship was established in 2018 in memory of the late Mrs. Elizabeth Pearse to fund the study of music at the Master's or Ph.D. level.

Eligibility Criteria for Elizabeth Pearse Music Scholarship:

  • Applicants must be citizens of Australia or New Zealand.
  • Must be applying for a full-time Ph.D. or Master of Philosophy with music as their specialization.

Application process:

Students need to submit an application form to the university to be eligible for the scholarship. Applicants must also submit:

  • A copy of the academic transcript.
  • Abstract of the research project, including a summary of how the project relates to music.
  • A copy of the curriculum vitae.
  • Email from supervisor confirming their support of the scholarship application.

Value of the Scholarship: 

Students will receive AUD 8,000 paid in two equal installments after the census date of Study Period 2 and Study Period 1 the following year.
