Elizabeth Pearse Music Scholarship 2024

This scholarship was established in 2018 in memory of the late Mrs. Elizabeth Pearse to fund the study of music at the Master's or Ph.D. level.

Eligibility Criteria for Elizabeth Pearse Music Scholarship 2024:

• Applicant must be a citizen of Australia or New Zealand.
• Must be applying for a full-time Ph.D. or Master of Philosophy with music as their specialization.

Value of the Scholarship: Students will receive AUD 8,000 paid in two equal installments after the census date of Study Period 2 and Study Period 1 the following year.

Selection Criteria:

• Relatedness of the project to the field of music (50%).
• Academic merit/research record (30%).
• Whether the candidate has, or will receive, any other financial assistance during their studies (20%).

Application process:

Students need to submit an application form to the university to be eligible for the scholarship.

Applicants must also submit:

• A copy of your academic transcript.
• Abstract of the research project, including a summary of how your project relates to Music.
• A copy of your curriculum vitae.
• Email from supervisor confirming their support of the scholarship application.
