Electrical and electronic engineering undergraduate scholarship at University of Surrey 2026

• The scholarship is designed for students with academic excellence and a strong passion for their chosen field of study. 
• It’s open to applicants who meet certain eligibility requirements and is an application-based award, with decisions made by a scholarship panel. 
• International students should apply for a different scholarship.

Eligibility Requirements:

• To apply, you must:
• Be a UK student with home fee status.
• Have received an offer to study a full-time undergraduate or integrated master’s degree program at FHEQ Level 4 (first-year entry) in one of the following subjects:
  • Electronic Engineering BEng (Hons) / MEng
  • Electrical and Electronic Engineering BEng (Hons) / MEng
  • Electronic Engineering with Computer Systems BEng (Hons) / MEng
  • Electronic Engineering with Nanotechnology BEng (Hons) / MEng

Note that applicants for foundation year programs are not eligible for this scholarship.

Application Process:

• The scholarship is application-based, and you must apply online if you’ve received an offer from the
• University of Surrey.
• You need to have applied through UCAS for your course by 29 January 2025.
• The scholarship application period ends on 28 March 2025.
• To complete the application form, you must have a valid student ID and an offer from the university.
• Applications without this information won’t be considered.
• Successful candidates will be notified by 16 April 2025.
• If you haven’t heard by then, unfortunately, your application wasn’t successful.
• The scholarship provides a £2,000 reduction in accommodation fees for the first year of study.
• It’s available to UK students who have received an offer for a bachelor’s or integrated master’s program in the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at the University of Surrey.
• If you choose to live off-campus instead of in university accommodation, you’ll receive the £2,000 as a cash payment instead.
