Introduction:

The Elaine Thomson Memorial Award was created in honour and loving memory of Elaine Thomson, a dedicated hospitality worker who spent a lifetime leading and others in the hospitality industry.

Eligibility requirement for Elaine Thomson Memorial Award at Holland College:

Must be enrolled in the first or second year of either: Tourism, Travel and Event Management, Hotel and Restaurant Operations Management
Must submit a short essay demonstrating: Determination,Initiative, a considerate attitude and an aptitude for excellence

Value of the scholarship:

2 awards of approximately A CAD 1,000 each CAD 500 is awarded to support a full-time student

Application Process:

Confirm enrollment in the Tourism, Travel and Event Management program or the Hotel and Restaurant Operations Management program (first or second year).
Write and submit a short essay demonstrating determination, initiative, a considerate attitude, and an aptitude for excellence.
