Edd Kyle Memorial Award at Okanagan College 2026:

The Edd Kyle Memorial Award recognises Okanagan College students who demonstrate dedication to their studies and contribute to improving the experience of other students through their involvement in college life. The award considers academic achievement, community involvement within the College, and financial need.

Eligibility Criteria for the Edd Kyle Memorial Award at Okanagan College 2026:

• Applicant must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident.
• Applicant must have completed the first year of full-time study, with a minimum 80% course load, in a university studies, degree, or diploma programme at any Okanagan College campus.
• Applicant must be proceeding to a post-secondary institution the following September for a subsequent year of full-time study with a minimum 80% course load.
• Applicant must demonstrate involvement at Okanagan College that benefits other students.
• Applicant must have a minimum 70% cumulative grade average.
• Applicant must demonstrate dedication to studies and financial need.
• Applicant must provide at least one reference letter confirming their involvement at Okanagan College in improving the experience of other students.
• Applicant must provide proof of registration at their post-secondary institution if not returning to Okanagan College.

Application Process:

• Submit the online application through myOkanagan.
• Apply through the All Campus Current/Returning Application.
• The OC-Wide and Kelowna Awards Selection Committee selects the recipient(s).
• Applicants continuing at another post-secondary institution must provide proof of registration.

Value of the Award:

• One or more awards based on the accrued annual interest on the endowment fund are awarded to the recipient(s).
• The award amount varies.
