The Economics and Finance Placement Scholarship aims to support home students from the School of Economics and Finance with a low household income to take the year in the industry program. The scholarship will cover the full cost of the fee in the academic year that the industrial practice is undertaken (normally year 3 of the academic program).

Eligibility for the Economics and Finance Placement Scholarship:

Applicants must:

Be a home student paying full tuition fees (not receiving another scholarship).
Be registered in a School of Economics and Finance undergraduate programme with a year in industry.
Have secured a work placement for the relevant academic year with official approval from the School.
Meet the academic progression requirements.
Demonstrate an annual household income below £42,000.

Application Process:

Students must complete a separate application form to be considered for an Economics and Finance Placement Scholarship.

£1,905 covering the full cost of the year in industry fee.
