Applicants must:

Be enrolled, or intending to enroll, full-time at the University of Canterbury.
Be in their second, third, or fourth year of an undergraduate degree in any discipline.
Be a full-fee-paying student.
Be a citizen of one of the following countries: Bangladesh, Cambodia, China, India, Indonesia, Lao PDR, Malaysia, Mongolia, Myanmar, Pakistan, Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Thailand, Timor-Leste, or Vietnam; or be a holder of a Hong Kong Permanent Identity Card.
Be able to take up the scholarship in the year of application.
