E. E. Evans Prizes at Queen's University Belfast
These two prizes were established in 1972 by friends and colleagues of Professor Estyn Evans to honor his distinguished service at the University and the high regard in which he was held by peers, students, and friends.
Eligibility Criteria of E. E. Evans Prizes:
- A GBP 200 prize is awarded annually, subject to funds, to the student deemed by the Geography Examining Board to have submitted the most outstanding dissertation in the final honours examination.
- A GBP 300 prize is awarded annually, subject to funds, to the student judged to have achieved the best overall performance across core Geography Stage 1 modules at the end of the first year.
