Dwight McLellan Memorial Award

The Dwight McLellan Memorial Award supports students pursuing equine sciences related to the horse racing industry or reproduction at Olds College.

Eligibility criteria for the Dwight McLellan Memorial Award:

Applicants must demonstrate financial need.
Applicants must demonstrate an attitude of leadership.
Applicants must demonstrate achievement in equine sciences related to the horse racing industry or reproduction.
Preference is given to Continuing Education students in horse racing industry-related training.
If no suitable Continuing Education candidate is identified, the award may be given to a student in Equine Reproduction or Equine Care & Management.
Recipients are selected through program faculty nomination.

Eligible students are automatically considered based on their completed General Application.
