The Scholarship is to assist students enrolled at any level of study for whom accommodation within a Hall of Residence would be beneficial to their ongoing academic progress and who are able to demonstrate financial need based on individual or family circumstances caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Eligibility for D.V. Bryant Trust University of Waikato Scholarship 2020:
To be eligible, applicants must:
- be enrolled full-time at the University of Waikato in B Trimester; and
- demonstrate financial need
- be a New Zealand citizen or permanent resident; and
- be intending to or currently residing in one of the University Halls of Residence.
Value of D.V. Bryant Trust University of Waikato Scholarship 2020:
The Scholarship will be up to NZD 10,000 and will include the following,
- Accommodation credit in a University of Waikato Hall of Residence; and
- Tuition Fees and Student Services Levy (only those who are not under fees-free);
- Loan of a Chromebook for the duration of full-time enrollment.
