Eligibility Criteria for Dr. John C. and Marietta Peters Fellowship at Colorado State University:

Department of Fish, Wildlife, and Conservation Biology:

• Applicants must be U.S. citizens.
• Applicants must be a Master's or Ph.D. student in the Department of Fish, Wildlife, and Conservation Biology.
• Applicants must demonstrate financial need as determined by CSU's Office of Student Financial Services.
• Applicants must have superior academic achievement.
• Applicants must show potential for a career benefiting fisheries, aquatic species, or habitats through professional experience and service.
• Applicants must have an interest in protecting aquatic habitats and collaborating with agriculture, engineering, or state/federal agencies.
• Preference is given to students conducting field research.

Warner College of Natural Resources:

• Applicants must be U.S. citizens.
• Applicants must be a Master's or Ph.D. student in the Warner College of Natural Resources.
• Applicants must demonstrate financial need as determined by CSU's Office of Student Financial Services.
• Applicants must have superior academic achievement.
• Applicants must show potential for a career benefiting fisheries, aquatic species, or habitats.
• Applicants must express a desire to undertake fieldwork addressing environmental issues with an interdisciplinary research approach.
• Preference is given to students conducting field research.
