The Dr. Blanca Schorcht IDIS Award at the University of Northern British Columbia supports graduate students pursuing interdisciplinary studies who demonstrate financial need and satisfactory academic standing.

Eligibility Criteria for the Dr. Blanca Schorcht IDIS Award at the University of Northern British Columbia 2026:

• Applicants must be full-time graduate students enrolled in the Interdisciplinary Studies (IDIS) program.
• Applicants must have completed 15 credit hours.
• First preference is given to residents of Northern British Columbia.
• Second preference is given to Indigenous students.
• Applicants must demonstrate financial need and satisfactory academic standing.
• Successful applicants cannot receive the award more than once.
