Dr Aunty Doris Paton Indigenous Accommodation Scholarship

The Faculty of Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences is offering the Dr Aunty Doris Paton Scholarship for Indigenous Students to support them to live on campus whilst studying at Monash. 

Eligibility Criteria for the Dr. Aunty Doris Paton Indigenous Accommodation Scholarship at Monash University 2025:

  • Be an Indigenous Australian (Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander).
  • Be commencing or continuing an undergraduate degree in the Faculty of Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences at Monash University.
  • Intend to reside at Monash Residential Services (MRS) on any campus.
  • Provide a Confirmation of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Heritage certificate or a certified statutory declaration form to the William Cooper Institute.

Value of the Dr. Aunty Doris Paton Indigenous Accommodation Scholarship at Monash University 2025:

Covers up to $10,000 of accommodation costs for one year at Monash Residential Services.

Application Process:

  • VTAC applicants: Apply via the VTAC SEAS equity schemes to be automatically considered.
  • Current Monash students: Apply directly to Monash.
  • Submit all required documentation by the scholarship deadline.
