Eligible Criteria for Dr. Anita Silvers Scholarship Fund in Philosophy for Incoming M.A. Students at San Franciso State University 2026:

Applicants must:

• Be newly admitted to the M.A. Philosophy program at San Francisco State University.
• Enroll at least half-time (minimum 4 units) each semester during the 2026–2027 academic year.
• Provide the names of two faculty references who can attest to academic achievement.
• Submit unofficial transcripts from prior degree programs and from SFSU, including a list of courses currently in progress.
• Submit a short statement explaining why the scholarship would be useful and any additional information helpful for evaluation.
• Maintain a minimum GPA of 3.3 at SFSU (for both undergrad and graduate-level coursework if applicable).
