Douglas Scott Award at Okanagan College 2026:

The Douglas Scott Award supports students who have completed their first year of full-time university studies, degree, or diploma studies at Okanagan College and intend to continue their post-secondary education. Preference is given to students who have completed credits at the Vernon Campus and those returning to Okanagan College.

Eligibility Criteria for the Douglas Scott Award at Okanagan College 2026:

• Applicant must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident.
• Applicant must have completed the first year of full-time study in a university studies, degree, or diploma programme at Okanagan College.
• Applicant may receive preference if they have completed credits at the Vernon Campus.
• Applicant must be proceeding to a post-secondary institution the following September for a subsequent semester of full-time study, with a minimum 60% course load or 40% for students with permanent disabilities.
• Applicant may receive preference if returning to Okanagan College.
• Applicant must provide proof of full-time registration at their post-secondary institution if not attending Okanagan College.
• Applicant must demonstrate academic achievement and financial need, with emphasis on financial need.
• Applicant must be in good academic standing.

• Apply through the Vernon Current/Returning Application.
• Financial Awards selects the recipient(s).
• Applicants continuing at another post-secondary institution must provide proof of full-time registration.

Value of the Award:

• One or more awards of CAD 1,000 each are awarded to the recipient(s).
