Don Ridgway Scholarship at University of Colorado Boulder 2026

Eligibility Criteria for Don Ridgway Scholarship:

• Applicants must be Colorado residents.
• Applicants must be enrolled in the College of Communication, Media, Design and Information at the University of Colorado Boulder.
• Preference is given to students who were members of the Colorado High School Press Association.
• Financial need may be considered through FAFSA or CASFA.
• Applicants are reviewed holistically based on academics, leadership, extracurricular activities, employment, community service, and essays.
• Essay quality and content are heavily weighted in the selection process.

Value of Don Ridgway Scholarship:

$1,000 scholarship award.

Application Process:

All eligible candidates must complete and submit the General Application Form to be considered for the scholarship.
