Doctoral Fellowship Programme, 2017 is to promote junior scientists.

Eligibility

  • The applicants of Doctoral Fellowship Programme, 2017 must be enrolled in a PhD program at an Austrian university.
  • Should have applied and received an admit from the respective Austrian university for a PhD program.
  • The candidate should have received their degree no longer than two years. However, few candidates are accepted if they are involved in child care for up to 3 years or applicants who have a proof of providing military or alternative national service.
  • The academic excellence is taken into consideration and the student should have passed with a distinction.
  • The successful applicants of Doctoral Fellowship Programme, 2017 may also have to spend up to 12 months at a research institution and also the applicants may undertake their doctoral thesis within a cotutelle-de-thèse program which depends on the agreement between an Austrian university and a university abroad.
