DLR-DAAD Research Fellowships, 2018

The German Aerospace Center (DLR) and the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) are offering fellowships to doctoral and post-doctoral students.

Eligibility

• The applicants for DLR–DAAD Research Fellowships, 2018 should not be German nationals.
• The candidates are required to prove their exceptional study or research accomplishments.
• The applicants can belong to one of the following types
• Type A applicants are those who have completed their studies or research in the last 6 years with a university degree.
• Type B candidates must have completed their Ph.D. within their last two years.
• Type C applicants are expected to be working in a research or higher education institution and have a doctorate or a Ph.D.

Type A and type B

• The candidates applying for DLR–DAAD Research Fellowships, 2018 should submit curriculum vitae, a cover page, and master or Ph.D. thesis' abstract.
• The applicants must also submit university degree certificate with final grades and publication list.
• The candidates should submit English language certificate, all university certificates with grading system explanation.

Type C

• The candidates must submit a curriculum vitae, cover page, and publications list.
• A statement explaining the reasons for applying must also be submitted.

Value of the scholarship

• The recipients of DLR–DAAD Research Fellowships, 2018 get a monthly installment of 1,365 Euros and material allowance of 102 Euros for doctoral students.
• The post-doctoral students get 2,000 Euros per month and other allowances.
• The senior scientists get 2,300 Euros per month and other allowances.
