Overview:
Each year the ANU College of Engineering, Computing and Cybernetics ('the College') may offer an award known as the Dickins Scholarship in Engineering ('the Award'). The objective of the Award is to encourage a high-performing Engineering Honours student's ongoing academic achievement. Funding for this Award has been provided by Honorary Professor in Signal Processing Glenn Dickins, an ANU Alumnus.
Eligibility for the Dickins Scholarship in Engineering:
- Applicants must be domestic students.
- Candidates should be enrolled in a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) or Bachelor of Engineering (Research and Development) (Honours) in a single or flexible degree, offered by the College.
- Candidates must be completing an Electronic and Communication Systems Major.
- Students should be experiencing financial or other disadvantages.
Value of the Scholarship:
The scholarship value is $5,000 per annum. The duration of the award is for one year. The award is paid in equal installments after the census date each semester unless otherwise stated in the letter of offer.
