Overview:

Established in 2001, the scholarship is provided to a student with high academic achievement and excellence in practice teaching. Preference will be given to a student from Thunder Bay or Northwestern Ontario. Awarded by the Senate Undergraduate Scholarship and Bursaries Committee on the recommendation of the Faculty of Education. The donor attended the former Lakehead Teachers College, 1966-67 and taught briefly.

Eligibility for Diane Buhlman Scholarship in Education:

  • Be enrolled in the Faculty of Education

  • Demonstrate excellence in practice teaching
  • Preference for students from Thunder Bay or Northwestern Ontario
