Eligibility for University of Canterbury - Dennis William Moore Scholarships in New Zealand, 2022:
- The scholarship shall be awarded from time to time from the Dennis William Moore Fund and is tenable for a thesis student in astronomy who has been or will be undertaking observational work at Mt John as part of his/her thesis work.
- The tenure shall be one year for a master's student and up to three years for a student enrolled in a Ph.D.
- The scholarship shall be awarded by the University Council on the recommendation of a Selection Committee comprising:
- the Vice-Chancellor, or nominee;
- the Dean of the Faculty of Science
- the Head of the Department of Physics and Astronomy.
