The Deaton Family Memorial Scholarship was created by Dianne Vielhuber in loving memory of her father, Richard “Dick” Deaton. His lifelong passion for agriculture encompassed growing up on a farm, becoming very involved in the dairy industry throughout his professional career, judging cattle at county and local fairs, and being involved in agricultural organizations, including youth organizations.

Eligibility for the Deaton Family Memorial Scholarship at the University of Wisconsin:

Open to all nationals.
Applicants can be:

Applicants must be enrolled in a Dairy Science course at the university.
